Sion Edwards joined us from Colwyn Bay in October 2021. Sion is originally from the Penrhosgarnedd area of Bangor and spent time in the youth system at Wrexham before an eleven year spell at Bangor City during which time he was part of the side that won three consecutive Welsh Cups and then the Welsh Premier League from 2008 to 2011.

Sion represented Wales at under-23 semi-professional level and was part of a Welsh team that took on their Polish counterparts at Carmarthen’s Richmond Park in September 2009. He has also played for Rhyl, Porthmadog, and Colwyn Bay. In 2015, he was awarded the Welsh Premier League’s Clubman of the Year award.

Sion has made his name on the left-wing, a position from which he has put in many energetic performances in which he has both scored and created goals.
