Gwynedd League match in Pen Eifionydd next up for 1876
We will make our first ever visit to Llanystumdwy on Saturday 1 February for a Gwynedd League match against that kicks off at 2pm.
We have already faced Llanystumdwy twice this season, both times at Treborth. The first of these matches took place in the Tarian Goffa Bob Owen Memorial Shield on 16 November, and resulted in a 13-0 win. The game was also of note as our captain Michael Johnston scored his first ever goal in Bangor. As we reported in a recent article on here, it has sparked a run of goals in three consecutive months from a defender who is not normally associated with goalscoring.
We played at home to Llanystumdwy again on 21 December in a closer match that we won 6-0. Several of the goals we scored that day featured in our December goal of the month shortlist.
Since our match on 21 December, Llanystumdwy have only played twice in the Gwynedd League. They lost 6-0 away to Trearddur Bay Bulls on 11 January and 6-1 at Nefyn on 18 January. They currently occupy twelfth position in the table.
Please make the trip to Pen Eifionydd to cheer on our team if you can.
