Bangor made a bright start and almost took the lead after three minutes. James Barry broke down the right and cut the ball back towards Corrig McGonigle. McGonigle's flicked effort beat Aaron Jones but hit the post and rebounded to safety.
A few minutes later it was the visitors who took the lead with their first attack. Owen Davies showed his pace to get beyond the Bangor defence. His shot beat Bradley Farrar but hit both posts. However, his fellow attacker Nathan Brown was on hand to net the rebound from close range.
Bangor went on the attack again as they searched for an equaliser. Just after the quarter hour mark, Corrig McGonigle curled a free kick narrowly over the bar from 20 yards out.
Soon afterwards it was Denbigh who found the net again. Samuel Duffy showed pace on the right and squared the ball across the box for Owen Davies to tap in at the back post.
After 25 minutes Bangor reduced the deficit after Corrig McGonigle swung in a free-kick from the right. After Tom Clarke headed the ball back across goal, the ball seemed to take a touch off a Denbigh defender before it crossed the line.
At the other end, Bradley Farrar had to show good reflexes to turn away a powerful shot by Keelan Williams. Owen Davies then broke through on goal and knocked the ball past Farrar a few minutes later but Telor Williams cleared the goalbound effort.

Bangor made a strong start to the second period and drew level eleven minutes after the restart. A neat pass from Dale Davies found Mason Blackwell-Jones on the right side of the penalty area. The in-form midfielder cut inside and found the net with a curling shot on his left foot.
Shortly afterwards, Dale Davies shot at goal himself from just outside the penalty area but his attempt was saved by Aaron Jones.
In the next attack, Bangor almost took the lead when Denbigh defender Max Cooke almost sliced the ball past his own goalkeeper after James Barry played in a threatening cross from the right.
Midway through the second period, Denbigh regained the lead. After breaking down the left, the ball was worked into the centre of the penalty area. Substitute Paul Fleming found the net with a well-placed curling effort from near the penalty spot.
With just over fifteen minutes left, Bangor came close to drawing level again when Corrig McGonigle hooked the ball goalwards from a tight angle but Jones tipped his shot over the bar.
With 78 minutes on the clock, Bangor drew level again. Denbigh failed to clear the ball after Corrig McGonigle played a free-kick into the box from the left, and Joe Culshaw lashed in the loose ball from eight yards out.
With six minutes left, Bangor came close to taking the lead after Corrig McGonigle lined up a free-kick 30 yards out. His shot beat Jones but struck the crossbar and rebounded to safety.
With three minutes of normal time left, substitute Joe Sullivan fired in a powerful shot from 20 yards out but Jones parried the ball.
Despite Bangor's second half dominance there was to be a late sting in the tail for the second week in a row. After the visitors won a free-kick on the right, the ball was headed across goal and Harrison Bellis scored what turned out to be the winning goal from close range.
