On Saturday 5 October, we travel to Penrhyncoch for an away league game. It will be our first ever match against the team from Ceredigion.
Penrhyncoch are currently twelfth in the league, having won two, drawn two, and lost four of their eight matches in the JD Cymru North.
Last weekend, Penrhyncoch drew 1-1 away to Llay Welfare in the league thanks to an equaliser from Daniel Owen. The week before, they won 2-1 at home to tier 4 side Talysarn Celts in the Welsh Cup in a game where their scorers were Cameron Allen and Daniel.
Penrhyncoch’s squad features a blend of youth and experience. One name which will be familiar to many followers of Welsh domestic football is Geoff Kellaway. The former Aberystwyth player is now 38.and has played seven times so far this season contributing a goal and an assist. He scored thirteen times for Penrhyncoch in tier 3 last season.
Penrhyncoch play at Cae Baker and the postcode for the ground is SY23 3EH. If you would like to enquire about the availability of places on our supporters’ coach to the game, please contact Dave Roberts (07517 482182).
