On Saturday 7 September, we are away to Holywell Town in a league match. I'm kicks off at 2.30pm and takes place at the Baritons North Wales Stadium (postcode: CH8 7TZ).
At the time of writing, Holywell are second in the JD Cymru North and only ahead of us on goal difference. They won the JD Cymru North last season and finished second the season before, so a tough match awaits. Although we lost the corresponding league fixture last season 2-1 in March, we began 2023-24 with a 3-2 victory away to the Wellmen in the Nathaniel MG Cup.
Although Holywell began last month with league defeats away to Colwyn Bay and Buckley Town, they have won four consecutive matches since then. Their trio of league wins was achieved by beating Mold Alexandra and Llay Welfare on their travels before seeing off Caersws in Holywell. The Wellmen completed August with a second victory away to Mold, this time in the Welsh Blood Service League Cup.
We received fantastic backing from our travelling fans in our last away match at Llandudno and it would be great to see more of the same this weekend.
