Cully and Corrig find the net

On a sunny Friday evening it was Bangor who came.close to opening the scoring early on. Cai Powell-Roberts broke down the right and played an inviting ball across the face of goal where it was met by Sam Jones. The attacker's shot powerful shot struck the crossbar and rebounded to safety.

At the other end, there was a goalmouth scramble following a Llandudno corner but the Llandudno defence managed to clear. In a lively start, Corrig McGonigle then shot narrowly over the bar after being played in by Mason Blackwell-Jones.

Still inside the opening quarter hour, Dion Jones got on the end or a cross from James Barry but couldn't beat home goalkeeper Cameron Darling with his shot.

Just before the half hour mark, Llandudno had a chance following a cross from the left but Mark Cadwallader headed over the bar.

Inside the last ten minutes of the half, the hosts threatened again following a counter attack. The move ended with a shot on the turn from near the penalty spot by Omar Ibrahim, but the midfielder's effort went just wide.
