On a sunny Friday evening it was Bangor who came.close to opening the scoring early on. Cai Powell-Roberts broke down the right and played an inviting ball across the face of goal where it was met by Sam Jones. The attacker's shot powerful shot struck the crossbar and rebounded to safety.
At the other end, there was a goalmouth scramble following a Llandudno corner but the Llandudno defence managed to clear. In a lively start, Corrig McGonigle then shot narrowly over the bar after being played in by Mason Blackwell-Jones.
Still inside the opening quarter hour, Dion Jones got on the end or a cross from James Barry but couldn't beat home goalkeeper Cameron Darling with his shot.
Just before the half hour mark, Llandudno had a chance following a cross from the left but Mark Cadwallader headed over the bar.
Inside the last ten minutes of the half, the hosts threatened again following a counter attack. The move ended with a shot on the turn from near the penalty spot by Omar Ibrahim, but the midfielder's effort went just wide.
HALF-TIME: LLANDUDNO 0-0 BANGOR 1876
Five minutes into the second half, Llandudno had a chance following a cross from the left. Harvey Barnes directed a downward header towards goal but Bradley Farrar saved well.
Shortly afterwards it was Bangor's chance to threaten. Mason Blackwell-Jones broke into the right side of the Llandudno box after a neat pass from Joe Culshaw but sent his powerful shot just wide of the target.
Midway through the second half Culshaw was again at the centre of the action. Mason Blackwell-Jones curled in a free-kick from the right and the energetic midfielder rushed into the head the ball into the net.
Inside the last fifteen minutes, Llandudno had a chance when Alex Boss broke into the left of the box and fired a shot across goal. Bradley Farrar parried the attempt and the ball was scrambled clear.
With ten minutes left, substitute Harry Galeotti had a chance to extend Bangor's advantage when he got to a long ball forward ahead of the Llandudno keeper. However, he was unable to find the target when he shot at goal from a tight angle.
Inside the last five minutes, Bangor won a penalty after a foul on Joe Culshaw after Corrig McGonigle swung in a free-kick. It was McGonigle who stepped up and beat the keeper with a low effort down the middle.
Llandudno continued to press and had a chance deep into injury time, but Bradley Farrar pulled off an excellent save to keep out Alex Boss's header.
