At 7.45pm on Friday 9 August, we are due to play away to Prestatyn Town in our third league match of the season. We are pleased to confirm that the game is ON following a pitch inspection that took place on the morning of Friday 9 August. The postcode of Prestatyn’s home ground is LL19 7LU.

Last season, our two league games against Prestatyn featured plenty of goals. On 26 August 2023, we lost 4-1 at home to the Seasiders. The visitors took the lead from the penalty spot in the second minute through Karl Clair. They doubled their advantage later on in the opening period thanks to Daniel Atkins, who added a further goal after the break. Tom Clarke unfortunately scored an own goal before Corrig McGonigle reduced the deficit with a late consolation goal.

There were even more goals in the return league fixture at Bastion Gardens on 8 March this year. Goals from Corey Jones and Corrig McGonigle had us two goals ahead inside the first ten minutes but Alec Williams soon reduced the deficit for Alec Williams for Prestatyn. The hosts then ewualsied through Luke Wiltshire just before half time. They took the lead shortly after the interval when Tyler Joyce scored, but strikes from Dale Davies and Mason Blackwell-Jones secured a valuable 4-3 away win.
