We continue our preparations for the new season on Tuesday 9 July when we play Penmaenmawr Phoenix at 7.30pm. Please note that this game will take place on the 3G pitch at Treborth. This is due to work being carried out on the pitch at Nantporth.
We had initially been due to play Porthmadog on Tuesday but they had to withdraw from the fixture. We are very grateful to Penmaenmawr Phoenix for stepping in at short notice.
Penmaenmawr play in tier 4, in the east section of the North Wales Coast FA area. In 2023-24 they finished fourth in the league, behind the top trio of NFA, Cerrigydrudion, and Llandudno Junction.
Football in Penmaenmawr can be traced back over a century. Penmaenmawr Football Club waa.founded in 1902 and played under that name until the late 1980s. The 1989-90 season was the first one during which the team who play at Cae Sling took on the name Penmaenmawr Phoenix.
We had great backing at Saturday's game against FC United, which contributed to a fantastic occasion. Plesse come along on Tuesday if you can. Entry prices will be £5 for adults and £3 for children and concessions. Payment will need to be by cash only.
Please try to arrive early in order to try to avoid congestion on the single track road from.nesr the Menai Suspension Bridge to the pitch at Treborth. The area near the Suspension Bridge has been particularly busy in recent months due to the work taking place on the bridge, so it would be a good idea to allow extra time for the journey.
