We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Sion Parry from Porthmadog. Sion scored 49 goals for Porthmadog Reserves last season, and has also played and found the net for their first team.
As well as playing at Porthmadog, Sion Parry has scored over 100 goals for Llanystumdwy and found the net 277 times in 232 games during seven years of playing senior football. He will add further attacking firepower to a Bangor 1876 strikeforce that has already scored over 100 goals in all competitions this season, including 79 in eleven Gwynedd League matches.
Hot on the heels of Ryan Pope’s signing from Llanfairfechan Town, Sion Parry’s arrival further demonstrates our to desire to recruit and develop leading young talent from the North Wales area. We would like to thank Craig Papirnyk and CPD Porthmadog FC for their cooperation in making this transfer possible. Welcome to the 1876, Sion!
