Sam Roberts has agreed to join Bangor 1876 for the new season. The 20 year old spent the last two years at Llanrwst, having previously been an academy player at both Wrexham and Connah's Quay Nomads.

Sam is a left-footer who often features in the centre of midfield. However, he is a versatile player who has featured in a number of other positions such as left-back. He has represented Wales at under-18 schools and under-18 academy level.

As it happens, Sam may not be an entirely new face to players and followers of Bangor 1876. He played and scored against our team for Llanrwst in the FAW Trophy on 2 November last season. We are delighted to welcome him to the club.
