Liam Morris recently returned from injury and scored a hat-trick in last weekend’s FAW Trophy win away to Llanystumdwy. Read what he has to say about life at 1876 so far in our latest player interview…
What motivated you to sign for 1876?
The challenge of helping getting Bangor up the leagues was the main factor, and after speaking to Johno and Mel during pre-season it was a no brainer for me.
What have been your highlights of the season so far?
I haven't really got all that many yet as it's still early days but going forward I'm sure there will be plenty.
You recently returned from injury. What was it like having to watch from the sidelines and how does it feel to be back playing again?
To be honest it was horrendous and felt like it'd been forever, especially watching the Welsh Cup exit. It feels great to be back. I know it will take me a couple weeks to get up to speed but I hope I can stay fit for the rest of the season now.
What are your aims for the rest of the season?
It's to win as much as possible. The league is the main priority but with the squad we have I know we can push for the cups too.
TIme for a random question to finish. Which team mates do you think would be the most or least likely to do well on Strictly Come Dancing?
Aaron Heald wouldn't have a chance on Strictly. I’ve seen some of his moves and they are the worst I’ve ever seen! ?
