Yng Nghyfarfod Cyffredinol Blynyddol diwethaf y clwb, buom yn trafod y posibilrwydd o newid enw’r clwb i CPD Bangor City 1876 FC.

Mae’r Gymdeithas Pel Droed wedi cytuno, os yw cefnogwyr y clwb yn cefnogi’r newid hwn, y byddan nhw’n ei gefnogi.

Felly byddwn yn ceisio barn yr holl aelodau presennol sydd wedi talu, gyda phleidlais gudd. Ar sail yr ymateb, byddwn naill ai’n aros fel Bangor 1876, neu’n cyflwyno’r enw newydd ar gyfer tymor 2025-26.

Bydd pob aelod sydd wedi talu i fod yn aelod y tymor hwn yn derbyn naill ai e-bost neu lythyr cyn bo hir, fel y gallant leisio barn a phleidleisio ar yr opsiwn arfaethedig i newid.

At the club's last AGM, we discussed the possibility of changing the club name to CPD Bangor City 1876 FC.

The FAW have agreed that, if fans are supportive of this change, they will support it.

We will therefore be canvassing the views of all paid up current members, with a secret ballot. Based on the response, we will either remain as Bangor 1876, or introduce the new name for the 2025-26 season.

All paid up members will shortly be receiving either an email or letter, so that they can voice an opinion on the proposed option to change.
