We are delighted to announce the signing of 24 year old striker Corrig McGonigle from Conwy Borough. He is a player who already has 300 goals in senior football to his name, including many at tier 2 and tier 3 level.

Corrig has scored nine goals for Conwy this season, including eight in the JD Cymru North. In the 2019-20 season, he averaged more than a goal per game in the same competition as he found the net 24 times in only 23 matches.

Our first team manager Michael Johnston describes Corrig as a player “who will be a great addition to our squad and hopefully improve on his excellent record”. Johnston added that “his record is immense, both when it comes to scoring goals and creating them”. Our new manager was eager to recruit the talented striker, mentioning that “as soon as we heard he was available, Mel Jones was straight onto it”.
